Shelter
The Shelter series (consisting of four Games, one Expansion, five Soundtracks and two interactive Books) is a collection of beautiful, storybook-style narratives that feature the cruelties of nature and the compassion of mothers as their primary themes. Throughout each game, the protagonist is tasked with collecting items and often the feeding/protection of their young - though some stray from this narrative for a more community-friendly or story-based approach.
The books can be considered separate from canon, though they expand on the world established by Shelter and feature moral learning for children.
