Crystal Shards are a type of Collectible that earn the player new emotes, skins and Animals to use in the MMO, Meadow. They come in three different colours, and can be found through exploration as well as cracking Obelisks with other players.
Pink
The most common form of shard, Pinks are exclusively found through exploration - not unlike Flowers - and often spawn nestled in corners and against walls or trees. They are never held within Obelisks, and unlock new emotes for the player. They are also the smallest variation of shard, giving 10 Essence upon pickup.
Blue
A rarer, larger form of shard, Blues can be found through the exploration of caves and hillsides, as well as being held within Obelisks. They unlock new skins for the player's current Animal, and give 20 Essence upon pickup.
Gold
The rarest form of shard, Golds are commonly found through the cracking of Obelisks - though are, on occasion, spawned on-world - and unlock new animals for the player to use. They give 40 Essence.
Trivia
- Blues are possibly the most valuable form of shard, due to the sheer number of skins available.
